Stories, coloring pages, journals, and notes that make big feelings feel safe—and held by God’s love.
Lorraine Schauer, LMSW
A Christian series for growing hearts
Teaching emotional intelligence from a Godly perspective—so children can name what they feel, choose what honors God, and remember they are never alone.
“Let the little children come to me.” — Luke 18:16
It’s okay to feel many feelings. God is with us in every single one.
The flagship workbook · four editions
Representation matters. The core activity workbook is one book—the same feelings, prayers, and Scripture memory cards—offered in four cover editions so a child can see themselves, a sibling, or a friend looking back at them.
The child you choose appears throughout the whole book — the lessons and Scripture are identical in every edition.

Children don’t have to figure out big feelings alone. Look at the pictures. Talk about the feelings. Pray together. Practice God’s Word. Each resource creates opportunities for parents, caregivers, teachers, and other trusted adults to help children understand their feelings and make good choices.
Faith-based tools for Sunday school, character education, caregivers, and therapists.
The collection
Little People, Big Feelings was created to help children understand their emotions, make good choices, and grow in God’s Word. From our original emotional intelligence curriculum to storybooks, coloring pages, Lunchbox Love Notes, and the My Feelings & Faith Journal, each resource was created with one purpose in mind: helping little hearts handle big feelings with faith, love, and grace.

The author
Lorraine Schauer, LMSW, is a social worker, wife, mother, Sunday School teacher, sports mom, and community volunteer. For more than 20 years, she has worked with children, adults, and families through some of life’s difficult moments.
Little People, Big Feelings grew from something Lorraine believes deeply: all feelings are okay, but God calls us to be responsible for what we do with them.
Her books combine practical emotional intelligence skills with Scripture to help children understand what they are feeling, talk about it with safe adults, and learn to make choices grounded in God’s Word.
